The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, which were launched last month, introduced a shift from stainless steel frames to titanium frames when compared to their predecessors. However, this change may not be exclusive for long, as per the latest rumor surrounding Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S24 lineup.
A tipster on X (formerly Twitter) has suggested that all three models within the Galaxy S24 family – the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra – will feature titanium frames. Leaked CAD-based renders have already provided a glimpse of these devices, showcasing notably flat frames.
Previously, the prevailing belief, based on a single earlier rumor, was that only the S24 Ultra would sport a titanium frame. Nevertheless, this new rumor asserts that Samsung won’t differentiate among its premium devices, at least in terms of this particular aspect.
It’s important to approach this information with caution since it remains unconfirmed at this stage. Additionally, well-known leaker Ice Universe responded to the initial X post, reiterating that only the Ultra variant would receive the titanium treatment. So, the situation is still uncertain. We’ll need to await further rumors and leaks to gain a clearer understanding. Samsung is expected to unveil the S24 series in January, so there’s ample time for more information to surface.
