Realme is reportedly developing the GT6, which has recently received FCC certification, indicating an imminent international launch. The certification reveals that the device will feature a 5,500 mAh battery and support for 5G connectivity. It will also include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo, SBAS, and NFC.
The Realme GT6 will run on Android 14 with Realme UI 5.0 out of the box. Its dimensions are 162 x 75 x 8.6 mm, and it weighs 199 grams. The battery will support fast charging with SuperVOOC technology, although the exact charging speed has not been specified.
Previous benchmark tests of a device with the now-confirmed model number RMX3851 have shown that the GT6 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, a chipset gaining popularity among Chinese smartphone brands. The GT6’s association with this model number was further corroborated by a recent certification in Indonesia.
The Realme GT5 was launched last August, but details regarding the GT6’s official release date remain unclear. Given the recent certifications and growing anticipation, the GT6 might hit the market sooner than expected.
The Realme GT6 is poised to build on its predecessor’s success with enhanced specifications and cutting-edge features. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC promises powerful performance, while the substantial battery capacity and fast charging capabilities ensure long-lasting and efficient use. With comprehensive connectivity options, including 5G and NFC, the GT6 is set to offer a robust and versatile experience for users worldwide.
