Realme is gearing up to launch the GT Neo6 SE smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset. Recently, it was revealed that another Neo6 phone is also in the works, likely featuring the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. This device, bearing the model number RMX3852, has just received certification from 3C in China, confirming its support for 120W charging. According to a report from China, this new device will be named the Realme GT Neo6.
The Realme GT Neo6 is not a complete surprise, as last month tipster Digital Chat Station suggested that the phone would come with a 144 Hz AMOLED display and a 1220p resolution. Additionally, the GT Neo6 was spotted at Eurofins with the same charging specifications, though under the model number RMX3851. There is speculation that this phone might be marketed internationally as the Realme GT 6.
Introducing a GT phone with a 120W charging rate could be seen as a step down, considering the GT5 and GT3 had versions with an impressive 240W rate, capable of charging the battery from empty to 100% in just over 10 minutes. However, the international rebranding remains unconfirmed, so these details are still within the realm of speculation.
Realme has already initiated early reservations for the GT Neo6 SE in China. Customers can reserve their devices through Realme’s China web store as well as local online retailers such as JD.com, Tmall, and Pinduoduo. Early reservations come with exclusive bonuses for the first buyers, including wireless earbuds, power banks, and chargers. The official launch of the GT Neo6 SE is anticipated for next week.
The GT Neo6 SE has been showcased in a Liquid Silver Knight color, featuring a metallic texture, matte elements, a nano-coating process, and AG glass. It has also been confirmed that the cameras are encased in stainless steel lens rings and the device weighs 191 grams.
Realme has confirmed that the GT Neo6 SE will sport a 6.7-inch BOE-made 8T LTPO OLED display with a 1220p resolution and a 0.5-120 Hz refresh rate. A recent teaser highlighted its ultra-thin bezels and a peak brightness of 6,000 nits for localized HDR content. The GT Neo6 SE will debut with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset and a 5,500 mAh battery with 100W charging capabilities.
