Speculations thus far indicate substantial internal modifications for the forthcoming Galaxy S24 series. In terms of the external design, leaked images of dummies have emerged, hinting at a familiar appearance. @SonnyDickson shared images representing all three models – the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra. The smaller S24 models exhibit flat sides, rounded corners, and a rear configuration with only the three camera lenses protruding.
The S24 Ultra stands apart with a more rectangular profile and an additional two camera lenses at the back. Previously leaked CAD-based renders disclosed the phone’s measurements – approximately 162.3 x 79.0 x 8.7mm, aligning closely with the S23 Ultra, differing by merely a millimeter. Regrettably, the dummies weren’t captured from the front, where the new Ultra is anticipated to adopt a somewhat flatter design while retaining a slight curvature. The weight is projected to remain unchanged as well.
Renderings of the Galaxy S24+ imply dimensions of about 158.5 x 75.9 x 7.75mm, while leaks suggest the S24 will measure around 147.0 x 70.5 x 7.6mm. These dimensions closely mirror those of the S23+ and S23, with differences of just about a millimeter. There are rumors about Samsung shifting to titanium frames for the 2024 flagship series, diverging from Armor Aluminum. Although the dummies are depicted in white, reports hint at the availability of four core color options along with several additional colors, possibly exclusive to Samsung’s store.
Regarding displays, rumors suggest that all three models will feature LTPO panels, marking a notable advancement. Upgrades to the rear cameras are expected, predominantly concentrated on the Ultra variant. The unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series is anticipated to take place in January during an Unpacked event in the United States.
