With the launch of the Galaxy F14 in March last year, Samsung enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the imminent arrival of its successor, the Galaxy F15, even though it has not been officially announced yet. Adding fuel to the anticipation, a prototype of the F15 5G recently underwent testing on Geekbench, showcasing a promising performance with a single-core score of 690 and a multi-core score of 1,752.
Running on Android 14, the prototype is set to be equipped with Samsung’s One UI 6 upon launch. Initial specifications reveal 4GB of RAM, but there is speculation that Samsung may introduce additional memory options once the phone is officially unveiled.
While the exact chipset is not explicitly stated in the Geekbench database, there are strong indications that the Samsung Galaxy F15 5G will feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 6100+, inferred from the reported clock speeds of its processor. Notably, this chipset has previously been employed in the Galaxy A15 5G, which made its debut in December of the preceding year.
If the trend continues from the previous model, the Galaxy F15 5G is anticipated to share similarities with the A15 5G, following the pattern where the F14 was essentially a rebranded version of the A14 5G with a larger battery. If this holds true, consumers can expect the Galaxy F15 5G to boast a 6.5-inch 90 Hz AMOLED display, a triple rear camera setup featuring a 50 MP main camera, a 5 MP ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP macro lens.
On the front, a 13 MP selfie snapper is likely to be present, complemented by a robust 6,000 mAh battery to power the device through extended usage. As anticipation mounts, Samsung enthusiasts eagerly await the official unveiling of the Galaxy F15 5G to discover the full extent of its features and capabilities.
