Motorola has officially launched the Edge 40 in Asia as scheduled. The smartphone will be available in Jet Black, Reseda Green, and Coronet Blue colors, and it comes in a single configuration of 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Priced at $360/€335/PKR102666.78, the Edge 40 will be up for sale starting May 30 through Motorola’s official website. Customers who pre-order the device will receive free screen damage protection valued at $115/€105/PKR32796.33.
Powering the Motorola Edge 40 is the Dimensity 8020 SoC, and it runs on the latest Android 13 operating system out of the box. The phone features a 6.55-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The front-facing 32MP camera is housed within a centered punch hole, while the fingerprint reader for convenient unlocking is located beneath the display.
On the rear of the Motorola Edge 40, the Coronet Blue variant sports an acrylic plastic back panel, while the Jet Black and Reseda Green versions come with a vegan leather finish. The primary camera boasts a 50MP sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), accompanied by a 13MP ultrawide lens.
The device is equipped with a 4,400mAh battery that supports 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Additional features of the Motorola Edge 40 include an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos support, and a USB-C port for connectivity.
