Samsung’s upcoming addition to its rugged smartphone lineup, the Galaxy XCover 7, has surfaced in leaked renders earlier this week, offering a glimpse of its design. Recently, a Geekbench run has unveiled key specifications of the phone, listed as the Samsung SM-G556B. It features a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset alongside 6GB of RAM.
In terms of performance, the device achieved a single-core score of 663 and a multi-core score of 1,867. The Geekbench listing also disclosed the presence of Android 14, presumably paired with Samsung’s One UI 6. Although an official announcement date for the XCover 7 remains unconfirmed, speculation hints at a potential launch in the first quarter of 2024.
