Samsung is broadening its Fan Edition lineup today, unveiling the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone, which we’ve already discussed. This expansion also introduces a couple of new Tab S9 FE tablets and a pair of wireless earbuds known as the Galaxy Buds FE.
The Galaxy Tab S9 FE series comprises two different sizes: the 10.9-inch Tab S9 FE and the 12.4-inch Tab S9 FE+. These tablets come in both Wi-Fi only and 5G variants. They feature IPS LCD displays with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Samsung has also included its Vision Booster technology for enhanced outdoor viewing and dual speakers with Dolby Atmos. Both Tab S9 FE versions are IP68-rated and come with the S Pen stylus, which is also resistant to water and dust.
Under the hood, Samsung utilizes its Exynos 1380 chipset, with 6/8 GB of RAM for the Tab S9 FE and 8/12 GB for the FE+ model. Storage options include 128 GB or 256 GB for both versions, and you have the option to expand it using the microSD card slot.
In the camera department, both tablets sport 12 MP ultrawide front-facing cameras with a 120Ëš field of view and an 8 MP primary rear camera. The Tab S9 FE+ features an additional 8 MP ultrawide module on the back. The Tab S9 FE is equipped with an 8,000 mAh battery, while the Plus model boasts a 10,000 mAh battery. Both support up to 45W fast charging, although you’ll need to supply your own charging brick.
The Galaxy Tab S9 FE series is available in Mint, Silver, Gray, and Lavender color options. In Europe, the starting price for the Tab S9 FE is €529, while the Tab S9 FE+ is priced at €699. For the 5G models, there is an additional €100 charge.
The earbuds support the AAC and SBC audio codecs and come with integrated touch controls. Each earbud is equipped with three microphones, two on the outside and one on the inside. Samsung includes the Buds FE with three different-sized silicone ear tips and two additional wingtips for a better fit.
The battery life is rated at 6 hours of playtime with ANC activated, which extends to 21 hours with the help of the 479 mAh battery in the charging case. The Galaxy Buds FE are available in Graphite and White color variants.

Samsung is approaching the launch of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE, which is a more affordable variant of the Galaxy Tab S9 series. Recently, the device made an appearance in the Google Play Console database alongside another budget-friendly tablet, the Galaxy Tab A9.
The listings have revealed some important specifications and official images of both devices, although some of this information was already known. The Tab S9 FE is listed with a display resolution of 1440 x 2304 pixels, powered by an Exynos 1380 SoC, 6GB of RAM, and running on the Android 13 operating system.
In contrast, the Galaxy Tab A9 features a more modest display with a resolution of 800 x 1340 pixels, is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G99 chip, 4GB of RAM, and also runs on Android 13 right out of the box. Both tablets are expected to hit the market before the year’s end, and there have even been tentative price indications for the Tab S9 FE in Europe.
