For several months now, rumors and speculative details regarding the Samsung Galaxy S24 lineup have been circulating. Thanks to IceUniverse, we have received a new summary regarding the sizes and additional specifications of the upcoming Samsung flagship models. According to this insider, the Galaxy S24 is expected to feature a slightly larger 6.2-inch screen with reduced bezel size. The S24+ will also have slimmer bezels and an increase in resolution to QHD+. Meanwhile, the S24 Ultra will maintain its 6.8-inch QHD+ screen.
Reportedly, the dimensions of the S24 are listed as 147 × 70.6 × 7.6mm, indicating that the upcoming device may be slightly longer in comparison to the S23, which measures 146.3 x 70.9 x 7.6 mm. The weight of the S24 remains at 168 grams, and the battery capacity is set to rise to 4,000 mAh, although it will still be limited to a 25W charging speed. The S24 will continue to have an FHD+ resolution but will now offer a peak brightness of up to 2,500 nits. On the other hand, the S24+ and S24 Ultra will come with QHD+ resolution displays and the same 2,500 nits peak brightness.
Ice Universe also points out that the bezels on the S24 and S24+ will be narrower than those on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, measuring 1.5mm compared to the 1.7mm bezels found on Apple’s flagship models. Additionally, the S24+ and S24 Ultra are 1mm shorter than their predecessors.
