Samsung Galaxy S24 Sales Starts Today
Two weeks ago, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S24 trio, and today marks the commencement of open sales for these devices. The Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra are now available for immediate purchase in Black, Gray, Violet, or Yellow from various carriers and retailers. For customers looking to buy directly from Samsung’s website in select markets, three exclusive colors – Orange, Green, or Blue – are also on offer.
Samsung reported a significant increase in global pre-orders compared to the Galaxy S23 lineup, with 65% of customers opting for the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The standout feature of this year’s flagship models is Galaxy AI, which, according to TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung, will fundamentally transform the way people interact with the world.
In an exciting development, Samsung has confirmed that Galaxy AI will be extended to previous models through software updates, encompassing the Galaxy S23 series, the Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 foldables, as well as the trio of flagship tablets Tab S9.
Additional noteworthy features include the introduction of the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400 chipsets. Moreover, the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ come with larger batteries, while the S24 Ultra boasts a new camera setup, a titanium frame, and a display designed to be less reflective, more resistant to scratches, and brighter.
