Last month, Realme officially introduced the 12 Pro and 12 Pro+, and it appears that the 12 family is expanding further, particularly in China. The Realme 12+ has recently received certification for sale in Realme’s home country from TENAA, providing us with the usual comprehensive specifications.
Despite the detailed list of features, the chipset that will power the Realme 12+ remains undisclosed. Notably, the 12 Pro is equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, while the Pro+ opted for the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. Although it may feature another Qualcomm-made SoC, the specific model remains unclear. The device will be offered with 6/8/12/16GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB/256GB/512GB/1TB.
Display-wise, the Realme 12+ boasts a 6.7-inch 1080×2400 AMOLED touchscreen, with dimensions measuring 162.95 x 75.45 x 7.87 mm and a weight of 190g. The rear camera setup includes a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP macro camera. On the front, there’s a 16 MP selfie snapper.
The phone is powered by a 4,880 rated capacity battery, likely marketed as a 5,000 mAh typical capacity, with 67W fast charging support, as revealed in a previous certification. The design of the Realme 12+ closely mirrors that of the 12 Pro and 12 Pro+, emphasizing its membership in the same family. The TENAA-tested model also featured a faux leather back.
