Recently, Motorola’s upcoming Razr 40 Ultra has been the subject of many leaks and rumors. Last week, official-looking promo materials were leaked and now a spec sheet has been leaked, revealing some details about the phone’s features. However, some people may not be happy with the chipset choice, as the folding phone will reportedly use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 instead of the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
Moving on to other specs, the Razr 40 Ultra is expected to feature a main AMOLED touchscreen with 1080×2640 resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz (or 144 Hz), while the smaller outer screen will have a squarish face with a resolution of 1056×1066. The phone may come with up to 512GB of storage, up to 12GB of RAM, a dual-SIM variant, an eSIM variant, NFC on all models, and a fingerprint sensor.
The main camera setup is rumored to include a 12 MP wide lens with the Sony IMX563 sensor and a 13 MP ultrawide lens with the SK Hynix Hi1336 sensor, while the inner screen may feature a 32 MP selfie camera with the OmniVision OV32B40 sensor. The Razr 40 Ultra is expected to come in black, blue, and “Barberry” colors.
Previous reports suggested that the phone would have a 3,640 mAh battery with support for 33W charging and would run Android 13 with Motorola’s My UX on top. With so many leaks and rumors, fans of the phone are eager for it to be officially announced soon.
