Earlier this month, the Motorola Edge 40 was unveiled and it is set to be launched in Asia on May 23. The smartphone will be available in Eclipse Black, Nebula Green, and Lunar Blue color options through various channels, including Motorola’s official Asian website and leading retail stores.
Running on the Dimensity 8020 SoC, the Motorola Edge 40 comes with Android 13 pre-installed. It boasts 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The device features a 6.55-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz. It is equipped with a 4,400 mAh battery that supports 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
For photography enthusiasts, the Motorola Edge 40 offers a triple-camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies.
In terms of design, the Lunar Blue variant of the smartphone utilizes acrylic plastic for its rear panel, while the Nebula Green and Eclipse Black models sport a vegan leather back. All three variants are IP68 rated for dust and water resistance and feature stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos for an enhanced audio experience. Additionally, the smartphone incorporates an in-display fingerprint scanner for convenient biometric authentication.
