Today, Honor unveiled its latest smartphone, the X50i+, featuring a standout 108 MP primary camera, a lightweight build, and an appealingly affordable price point. Sporting a 6.7” AMOLED display boasting Full HD+ resolution and a smooth 90 Hz refresh rate, the X50i+ incorporates an 8 MP front-facing camera nestled within an oval-shaped cutout, which adds an intriguing visual touch.
Powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset, coupled with 12 GB RAM and storage options of 256 GB or 512 GB, the phone debuts with MagicOS 7.2 atop Android 13. While the camera layout adopts an interesting flattened circular design, its sensor setup doesn’t present any groundbreaking features beyond the 108 MP main camera with an f/1.75 aperture and a 2 MP depth sensor.
Remarkably svelte at just 6.78 mm thickness and weighing a mere 166 grams, the X50i+ stands out as one of the lightest smartphones introduced in 2023. With a 4,500 mAh battery capacity, it supports relatively modest 33W charging.
Available in China, the X50i+ offers color options like Powder Gold and Light Blue with sparkling accents, as well as Black and Green with sleek panels. Pricing starts at CNY1,599 ($220/PKR62955.88) for the 256 GB version and CNY1,799 ($245/PKR70109.96) for the 512 GB variant.
