As anticipated, Xiaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi Civi 3 in China. This smartphone is equipped with the first-ever Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset, which offers similar specifications to the regular Dimensity 8200 but with customizations made by Xiaomi and MediaTek specifically for the image signal processing (ISP).
Continuing the tradition of previous Civi models, the Civi 3 places a strong emphasis on the camera experience. It features dual 32MP front-facing cameras arranged in a pill-shaped cutout, accompanied by LED flashes positioned on either side of the speaker grille.
The primary selfie camera incorporates optical image stabilization (OIS) and autofocus, while the second module offers a wider 100-degree angle and supports up to 4K video recording. The front LED flashes utilize AI technology to simulate various lighting effects, providing more realistic colors for your selfies.
Moving to the rear of the device, there is a prominent camera module housing three sensors. The primary camera boasts a 50MP IMX800 sensor with 1.0μm large pixels and OIS, accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro module.
The Civi 3 features a 6.55-inch AMOLED display on the front with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and achieves a peak brightness of up to 1,500 nits. The device is equipped with 12/16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and offers up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage. It packs a 4,500 mAh battery and supports 67W wired charging. On the software front, the Civi 3 runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13.
The Xiaomi Civi 3 is available in Purple, Mint, Gold, and Gray colors. The base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at CNY 2,499 ($353/PKR101199.81), while the top-end variant with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage is priced at CNY 2,999 ($424/PKR121554.44).
