HTC U23 Pro will Debut with 120Hz Screen, 108MP Camera & Snapdragon 7 Gen 1

HTC has officially introduced the HTC U23 Pro, which had previously been leaked earlier this month. The phone features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. The display incorporates a centered punch hole for the 32MP front-facing camera, while the fingerprint scanner is embedded in the power button on the right side of the device.

On the rear of the phone, there is a rectangular camera module housing four cameras: a 108MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. The HTC U23 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC and offers options of either 8GB or 12GB of RAM, along with 256GB of storage. It also includes a microSD card slot for storage expansion and comes with Android 13 out of the box.

The HTC U23 Pro comes pre-installed with the VIVERSE app and is compatible with the VIVE XR Elite mixed reality headset, which is available for purchase separately. Additionally, the U23 Pro features IP67 dust and water resistance. It is powered by a 4,600mAh battery with support for 30W wired charging and 15W wireless charging, as well as reverse wireless charging.

Other notable features of the HTC U23 Pro include 5G support, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, NFC, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone is offered in two colors and memory configurations: 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB. The prices for these configurations are TWD16,990 ($550/PKR157217.50/€510/INR45,505) and TWD17,990 ($585/PKR167222.25/€540/INR48,185), respectively. The HTC U23 Pro is currently available in Taiwan through HTC’s official Taiwanese website, while availability in other markets is yet to be announced.
