Oppo launched the A2 and A2 Pro last year and the A3 back in 2018—yes, the naming scheme is indeed perplexing. Adding to the confusion, the A3 Pro is now on its way. Today, CAD-based renders of the A3 Pro were leaked, revealing its dimensions: 162.7 x 74.5 x 7.8 mm. The phone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch display.
The renders showcase a distinctive design with two rear cameras housed in an extravagant circular camera island. This island also contains a circular LED flash array and an entirely decorative circle at the top with a metal-looking cap instead of an additional camera.
The Oppo A3 Pro 5G will have very narrow side bezels and decently sized top and bottom bezels, with the bottom bezel being slightly larger. The front of the phone includes a hole-punch cutout in the center for the selfie camera. The power and volume keys are located on the right side, and there is a USB Type-C port at the bottom.
As of now, no additional details about the Oppo A3 Pro have been leaked. However, given that leaks are starting to surface, more information is likely to emerge soon. For reference, the A2 Pro, which the A3 Pro is expected to replace, was a lower-midrange device powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7050 SoC. It featured 8GB or 12GB of RAM and offered storage options of 256GB or 512GB. The A2 Pro also sported a 64 MP main camera accompanied by a 2 MP depth sensor.
We anticipate that the A3 Pro will receive some minor upgrades while maintaining a similar price point to its predecessor. This approach should ensure it offers a compelling package at an affordable price, appealing to budget-conscious consumers seeking a stylish and capable smartphone.
