Xiaomi is gearing up for the release of the Xiaomi Civi 3 later this week and has provided further insights into the device’s display and front-facing cameras. Similar to its predecessor, the phone will feature a pill-shaped punch-hole design at the center of the display to accommodate the dual front cameras. One camera will be dedicated to selfies, while the other will offer a wide 100-degree field of view for vlogging purposes. Notably, the Xiaomi Civi 3 brings a significant improvement over previous Civi models with its support for 4K video recording, as announced in a Weibo post by Xiaomi.
In terms of physical dimensions, the phone is expected to weigh approximately 173.5 grams, with a slim base measuring 7.56 mm and a width of 71.7 mm. Xiaomi asserts that the Civi 3 represents the culmination of technology and design, having undergone over three years of development. The device is primarily targeted towards young individuals who value self-expression.
William Lu, a longstanding executive at Xiaomi and the company’s current President, stated that the Civi 3 will deliver flagship-level photography capabilities while remaining within the mid-tier price range. Its predecessor, the Civi 2, was launched in September 2022 with a starting price of CNY 2,399/$350/PKR99814.93, and it is anticipated that the new smartphone will be priced similarly.
