The international release of vivo’s flagship smartphone, the X100 Pro, has been notably gradual. Initially announced for China in November, the phone swiftly launched in the same month. Following its global debut in mid-December and a subsequent release in Asia earlier this month, it is now on the verge of reaching Europe. However, initial reports suggest that the phone will have limited availability, primarily in Austria and the Czech Republic.
While the X100 Pro is not yet listed on vivo’s regional websites, pricing details have been disclosed. The phone will be priced at €1,199. Although considered a competitive product and likely one of the standout cameraphones in the latter half of 2023, some may find the price higher than expected. Notably, its Asian price translates to €999. The complexity of VAT, logistics, and international pricing intricacies contribute to such variations.
The X100 Pro is available in a single configuration, featuring 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, providing robust performance, especially with the all-big-core CPU of its Dimensity 9300 chipset. The phone boasts a 6.78-inch 1260×2800 120 Hz LTPO AMOLED screen with a 3,000-nit peak brightness.
Its triple rear camera system includes a 50 MP main camera with OIS, a 50 MP ultrawide camera with autofocus, and a 50 MP 4.3x optical zoom periscope with OIS. The device is equipped with a 5,400 mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Operating on Android 14 with vivo’s Funtouch 14 overlay, the X100 Pro presents an impressive feature set.
