Numerous rumors and leaks have been circulating about vivo’s upcoming foldable smartphones, with speculations pointing towards an official unveiling towards the end of this month. Today, a leaked promotional poster from China not only confirms the anticipated timeframe but also reveals the precise date and time of the event. According to the leak, vivo X Fold3 series will be unveiled in April.
Enthusiasts can expect two variants in the lineup: a standard X Fold3 and the premium X Fold3 Pro. Previous rumors suggest that the base model will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and a robust 5,500 mAh battery, while the Pro variant will feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a slightly larger 5,800 mAh battery capacity.
Both devices are expected to boast an impressive IPX8 rating for water resistance, along with identical features such as an 8.03″ folding display, a 6.53-inch cover screen, dual ultrasonic fingerprint sensors, and the latest Android 14 operating system.
However, one notable distinction between the models is the Pro variant’s inclusion of a periscope telephoto lens, a feature absent in the standard model. As anticipation builds for the launch event, vivo enthusiasts eagerly await further details and official confirmation of the specifications and features of the X Fold3 series.
