The vivo V30 has been officially launched, commencing its global rollout across various markets. Equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and a substantial battery, this device shares its design with the vivo S18 but introduces significant camera enhancements.
The vivo V30 showcases a 6.78” AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1260p and an impressive peak brightness of 2,800 nits. A fingerprint scanner is embedded beneath the curved panel for user convenience.
Powered by a Qualcomm chipset utilizing the 4 nm process, the phone boasts a 2.63 GHz octa-core CPU and Adreno 720 GPU. The vivo V30 offers four variants in terms of memory and storage configurations: 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB, 12/256 GB, and 12/512 GB.
A notable feature of the vivo V30 is its status as the first global phone to incorporate the 50 MP OmniVision OV50E sensor, occupying a significant 1/1.55” size for the main camera. The ultra-wide-angle lens also features a 50 MP sensor with autofocus, while a front-facing 50 MP camera with autofocus is dedicated to selfies.
A substantial improvement over its predecessor is the vivo V30’s larger 5,000 mAh battery, supporting 80W FlashCharge. Remarkably, this makes it vivo’s slimmest phone with such a powerful battery, measuring just 7.5 mm in thickness at its base.
Running on Funtouch 14, based on Android 14, the vivo V30 comes with a commitment to a “50-month smooth experience,” signaling vivo’s intent to provide support for the phone for a minimum of 4 years. Available in four colors, each featuring a unique finish, the Bloom White version incorporates a 3D Petal Pattern, Waving Aqua boasts a Rippling Magnetic Particle effect, Lush Green presents a color-changing design, and Noble Black features Fluorite AG Glass.
The vivo V30 is set to be released in over 30 markets, including India, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Pakistan, Egypt, and the UAE. Specifics regarding availability, pricing, and detailed specifications for each market will be announced at a later date.
