TCL often introduces numerous new smartphones at CES, such as the 7-member TCL 50 series launched in January. The company is not slowing down, evident in the recent addition of the TCL 505 to its website. This phone maintains a familiar design consistent with other devices in the 50-series lineup.
The TCL 505 features a 6.75-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The display includes TCL’s NxtVision reflection-free coating, which filters blue light and reaches a maximum brightness of 400 nits.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by a Helio G36 chipset, accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, with the option to expand storage using a microSD card slot. On the rear, you’ll find a 50MP main camera with a 1/2.55-inch sensor and 0.7μm pixels, along with a 2MP depth module. Additionally, the phone is equipped with a 5MP front-facing camera.
Running on Android 14, the TCL 505 boasts a 5,010mAh battery that supports 10W charging. The phone is available in Ocean Blue and Space Grey colors. As of now, TCL has not disclosed the pricing details, but they are likely to be revealed in the near future.
