Redmi, a sub-brand of Xiaomi, has declared the launch of a new addition to the Redmi Note 12 series, called the Redmi Note 12R Pro, on April 29. Along with this announcement, the company has also revealed a poster showcasing the design and color options of the Redmi Note 12R Pro. The image displays the smartphone’s backside, which features a rectangular camera module containing two cameras and an LED flash.
Although the primary camera is equipped with a 48MP sensor, the functionality of the secondary camera is yet to be confirmed, and it could be either a depth sensor or a macro unit. The smartphone’s right-side frame is equipped with a power button and a volume rocker, with the power button expected to function as a fingerprint scanner, despite the Redmi Note 12 series’ absence of an in-display fingerprint reader, and the inclusion of a Samsung-made OLED display.
The Redmi Note 12R Pro is 5G compatible and will come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, although additional memory alternatives may be available, which have not been confirmed. The Redmi Note 12R Pro will be available for purchase in China on April 29, and all specifications, features, and pricing information will be revealed at 10:00 AM local time.
