Today, the Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+ smartphones, which were announced in March, have been launched in Asia. These smartphones are available in Aqua Blue, Classic Black, and Sea Green colors with a 4GB/64GB configuration.
However, the Redmi A2 also offers an additional option with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The price for the Redmi A2 with the 2GB/32GB variant is $75/€70/PKR21409.78, while the 4GB/64GB model is priced at $95/€90/PKR27119.05. The Redmi A2+ with the 4GB/64GB version is priced at $100/€95/PKR28546.37.
Starting from May 23, the Redmi A2 and A2+ will be available for purchase in Asia through various channels, including Xiaomi’s official website. Xiaomi is also offering a 2-year warranty on both smartphones to ensure that users don’t have to replace their smartphones every year.
Both the Redmi A2 and A2+ are essentially the same smartphones, except that the A2+ has a fingerprint reader on the rear. They are equipped with the Helio G36 SoC, run Android 13 (Go Edition) as the operating system out of the box, and feature 6.52-inch HD+ LCD displays.
These smartphones come with 5,000 mAh batteries that can be charged through a microUSB port at a maximum rate of 10W. The A2 and A2+ have 8MP primary cameras on the back, along with depth sensors, and they sport 5MP selfie cameras on the front.
