The upcoming addition to the exclusive Xiaomi Civi series in China will introduce a new smartphone equipped with a fresh chipset developed by MediaTek. The Xiaomi Civi 3 will be the pioneering device to showcase the Dimensity 8200 Ultra, which is likely an enhanced version of the Dimensity 8200 released in December.
Xiaomi has also confirmed enhancements to the image signal processing (ISP) capabilities. These improvements include decreased power consumption in the camera application, faster shooting speed, and the addition of around 30 new video features, which will be revealed later.
According to previous rumors, the Civi 3 is expected to feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is likely to retain the dual 32MP front-facing cameras found in the Civi 2. On the back, an upgraded 50MP Sony IMX800 sensor will be incorporated as the primary camera. Additionally, users can anticipate a 4,500 mAh battery with 67W fast charging. Stay tuned for more updates and teasers regarding the Xiaomi Civi 3.
