Vivo has introduced the latest addition to its Y-series lineup, unveiling the vivo Y27s in Indonesia. This device showcases notable deviations from its predecessors, the vivo Y27 and Y27 5G, highlighted by an upgraded punch-hole display.
Featuring a 6.64-inch LED LCD screen boasting FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, the Vivo Y27s incorporates an 8MP front-facing camera within the punch-hole cutout, complemented by a side-mounted fingerprint scanner seamlessly integrated into the power button.
Driving the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 chipset, coupled with 8GB RAM and 128/256GB UFS 2.2 storage, expandable through a microSD card slot. On the rear, the phone hosts a 50MP primary camera (f/1.8) alongside a 2MP depth camera, mirroring the setup found in the other two vivo Y27 models. Notably, the Y27s sets itself apart with its added IP54 water and dust resistance.
Running on Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13, the phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery supporting 44W fast charging. The vivo Y27s is available in Burgundy Black and Garden Green color variants. In Indonesia, pricing starts at IDR 2,399,000 ($153) for the 8/128GB variant and IDR 2,799,000 ($179) for the 8/256GB version.
