vivo launched the Y200 last October, followed by the Y200e this February. Now, it appears a third member of the family, the vivo Y200 Pro, is set to debut soon. It’s important to note that the “Pro” in its name signifies relative enhancements over its siblings, but don’t expect high-end specs.
The model numbers linked with the Y200 Pro in these certifications suggest it might be a rebranded or slightly modified version of the vivo V29e, which launched in October 2023. If this is accurate, the Y200 Pro could feature a 6.67-inch 1080×2400 120 Hz AMOLED touchscreen with a peak brightness of 1,150 nits. It may be powered by the Snapdragon 695 chipset, paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM. Camera-wise, we can expect a 64 MP main rear camera, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a 50 MP front-facing camera for selfies. Additionally, it is likely to house a 4,800 mAh battery with support for 44W wired charging.
vivo’s penchant for rebranding models is evident yet again, but the Y200 Pro promises to offer solid specifications for its category. The official launch is anticipated in the coming weeks, and we’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available.
