Tecno Camon 30, 30 5G & 30 Pro Launched Officially

During MWC 2024 in Barcelona, Tecno unveiled its Camon 30 series, comprising four models: Camon 30, Camon 30 5G, Camon 30 Pro, and the top-tier Camon 30 Premier. Today, the company has begun rolling out the first three models, with the flagship Camon 30 Premier has launched.

The Tecno Camon 30 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 8200 chipset and features impressive camera specifications. It boasts a dual 50 MP rear camera setup, with a 1/1.56″ main sensor equipped with OIS and a 50 MP ultrawide lens. The front-facing camera also sports a 50 MP sensor, making it ideal for high-quality selfies and video calls.

The Tecno Camon 30 5G, while stepping down to a Dimensity 7020 chipset, retains the 6.78” AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. It mirrors the Pro model’s camera setup with a 50 MP selfie camera and a 50 MP main camera with OIS, albeit with a slightly smaller 1/1.57” sensor. The base model, Camon 30, highlights a 5,000 mAh battery with 70W charging and is powered by the Helio G99 chipset.

These three models—Camon 30 Pro, Tecno Camon 30 5G, and Camon 30—are now available across various African markets. Tecno plans to gradually expand the availability of the Camon 30 series to over 70 markets worldwide. Pricing for each model will be announced separately in each market, catering to local pricing strategies and consumer demand.
