Tecno Camon 20 Series Launched in Asia

Tecno has officially announced that it will be launching the Camon 20 series smartphones in India on May 27. This series consists of four models: Camon 20, Camon 20 Pro, Camon 20 Pro 5G, and Camon 20 Premiere. However, during the event on May 27, Tecno will only introduce the Camon 20 and Camon 20 Pro 5G models to the Indian market. The vanilla model will be available in Glacier Glow, Serenity Blue, and Predawn Black colors, while the Pro 5G version will come in Serenity Blue and Dark Welkin colors.

Since the Camon 20 and Camon 20 Pro 5G are already available in other markets, we have information about their specifications. Both smartphones share similar features, with the main differences lying in the chipset and camera setup. The Camon 20 is equipped with the Helio G85 SoC, whereas the Camon 20 Pro 5G is powered by the Dimensity 8050 chip.

In terms of the camera, both the Tecno Camon 20 and Camon 20 Pro 5G feature a triple camera system on the back, highlighted by a 64MP main camera. However, the Camon 20 lacks optical image stabilization (OIS). Additionally, the Camon 20’s 64MP camera is accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor and a QVGA unit, while the Camon 20 Pro 5G’s 64MP shooter is paired with a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor.
