Tecno has recently introduced the Camon 20 Premier 5G, which boasts a premium design featuring leather and ceramic materials on its back. According to Tecno, this premium build eliminates the flimsiness commonly associated with plastic.
The ceramic camera module alone requires 56 hours of diamond polishing and a total of 576 hours to craft. The back panel of the Camon 20 Premier 5G is covered in a lychee pattern leather, while the camera module is made of nanocrystalline ceramic. The phone is available in Serenity Blue or Dark Welkin (black) color options.
In terms of the camera setup, the Camon 20 Premier 5G offers an intriguing configuration. It starts with a 50MP RGBW main camera with a 23mm f/1.8 lens and sensor-shift optical image stabilization (OIS). Additionally, there is a 108MP 13mm f/2.2 ultrawide camera with autofocus and macro capabilities. Less noteworthy are the 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor and the laser autofocus sensor. For selfies, there is a 32MP f/2.4 fixed-focus front-facing camera.
Tecno has chosen the new MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chip for the Camon 20 Premier 5G, which includes four Cortex-A78 cores and four Cortex-A55 units. The chip is paired with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of built-in storage. On the front, the device features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also incorporates a built-in fingerprint scanner.
The Tecno Camon 20 Premier 5G is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. It is priced at $450 and is now available in Nigeria.
