Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will Have 12GB RAM & Larger Screen

Samsung’s decision to equip last year’s Galaxy Z Flip5 with a 3.4-inch cover screen represented a significant enhancement compared to its predecessors, the Z Flip4 and Flip3, which featured tiny 1.9-inch panels. However, according to a recent rumored spec sheet shared by reliable leakster @TheGalox_, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 is poised to take this upgrade even further with a larger 3.9-inch outer screen. Additionally, the rumor suggests that Samsung will introduce Gorilla Glass Armor protection for the updated cover screen, enhancing durability and resilience.

In addition to the expanded cover screen, Samsung is expected to outfit the Flip6 with a 6.7-inch main screen, accompanied by improvements to the hinge and internal layout, including a larger cooling system to optimize performance. Under the hood, the Flip6 is rumored to feature the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, marking the first time Samsung offers more than 8GB of RAM on its Flip series, with configurations available with up to 12GB of RAM.

On the camera front, reports indicate that the Flip6 will boast a sophisticated setup, featuring a 50MP main camera alongside a 12MP ultrawide lens on the back. Leveraging Samsung’s Galaxy AI features, the device is expected to deliver exceptional photography capabilities, akin to those found in the Galaxy S24 series. Moreover, Samsung pledges to provide users with 7 years of software and security updates, ensuring long-term usability and protection.

In terms of battery capacity, the Flip6 is rumored to receive a substantial upgrade, housing a 4,000mAh battery compared to the Flip5’s 3,700mAh cell. This enhancement promises extended usage and enhanced endurance for users on the go. Samsung is anticipated to unveil the Flip6 at its Galaxy Unpacked event in July, alongside other anticipated releases such as the Fold6 and Galaxy Ring, generating excitement among enthusiasts eager to experience the latest innovations in foldable technology.
