The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra underwent another round of testing on Geekbench and achieved slightly improved results. However, it’s important to note that the benchmark version used this time (v6.1) differed from the previous version (v6.0), making a direct comparison less reliable. The chipset utilized in the device featured a prime core clocked at 3.36GHz, four big cores at 2.80GHz, and three little cores at 2.02GHz.
This particular model of the Tab S9 Ultra is believed to be the middle version, as indicated by leaked memory information. The previous benchmark showcased 8GB of RAM, whereas this one features an upgraded 12GB (implying 256GB of storage). Additionally, other variations of the device are expected, including models with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, as well as 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Notably, this version of the Tab S9 Ultra is identified as the SM-X910, differing from the previously seen SM-X916B. Despite Samsung’s attempts to maintain secrecy surrounding its flagship tablet, numerous leaks have revealed its design and specifications. The S9 Ultra is expected to be the largest among the three new models, boasting a 14.6″ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,960 x 1,848 pixels and a small notch housing dual front-facing cameras.
As for its battery capacity, the Ultra model is rumored to include an 11,200mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging, consistent with Samsung’s standard offerings. Samsung plans to officially introduce the new Galaxy Tab S9 series, alongside next-generation foldable devices and smartwatches, at the Galaxy Unpacked event in Seoul during the final week of July.

Rumors have surfaced regarding Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab S9 series, which is speculated to be unveiled in late July alongside the Galaxy Z Fold5, Z Flip5, and Watch6. Recently, new renders of the Tab S9 Ultra have emerged, courtesy of OnLeaks and MySmartPrice.
The latest images confirm that the Tab S9 Ultra’s overall design at the front will be similar to its predecessor. It will feature a 14.6-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2960 x 1848 pixels. The front of the device will showcase a V-shaped notch that houses dual front-facing cameras.
On the back of the Tab S9 Ultra, there is a slightly modified design. The two cameras are placed within their individual metal rings, positioned above the wireless charging pad for the S Pen. In terms of dimensions, the upcoming device will retain the same measurements as its predecessor, measuring 326.4 x 208.6 x 5.5mm, but it will weigh slightly more at 737 grams. The Tab S9 Ultra will be equipped with an 11,200mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging.
Additionally, rumors suggest that the Tab S9 Ultra will come with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. It is expected to run Android 13 with One UI 5.1 layered on top. The entire Tab S9 series is anticipated to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, with options for 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of RAM, and storage variants of 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB. The base model, likely with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, is expected to utilize UFS 3.1 storage technology, while the higher-end variants will feature the faster UFS 4.0 type.
