Samsung launched the Galaxy S23 FE last October, around eight months after the other Galaxy S23 models, and following a gap year with no FE model (as there was no S22 FE). Now that the FE line is back, Samsung appears committed to continuing it, and is already working on the Galaxy S24 FE.
A new report from Korea suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is set to launch this summer. This is significantly earlier than any previous FE model release, and it would arrive much sooner compared to the launch of the main S24 series, which was released in January.
If this information is accurate, Samsung’s rumored early to mid-July Unpacked event could be extremely busy. We are already expecting the Galaxy Z Fold6 (potentially with two models), the Flip6, the full announcement of the Galaxy Ring, and the new Galaxy Watch7 family. Adding the S24 FE to this lineup would make it a very packed event.
The information comes from supply chain sources in Korea, specifically a company producing some of the display components for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 FE. This company has already begun mass production of these components in preparation for the summer release.
The production volume for the S24 FE components is planned to be “in the millions,” indicating Samsung’s high expectations for the model’s success. The S24 FE will feature an OLED display, surrounded by thin bezels, enhancing its aesthetic appeal and user experience.
With these updates, Samsung seems poised to continue its tradition of offering high-performance, budget-friendly alternatives within its flagship series, ensuring the FE line remains a popular choice among consumers.
