Samsung has discreetly introduced its latest entry-level offering, the Galaxy M15 smartphone, in select regions. The device has surfaced on the official Samsung website for Iraq and certain Levant regions, although details regarding availability and pricing remain undisclosed. Nevertheless, the listings provide comprehensive insights into the specifications and official images of the device.
One of the standout upgrades of the Galaxy M15 over its predecessor, the M14, is the inclusion of a larger 6.5-inch OLED display, a significant improvement over the previous IPS LCD panel. The display also boasts a smoother experience with a 90Hz refresh rate and offers a crisp FHD+ resolution.
Powering the Galaxy M15 is the Dimensity 6100+ chipset, replacing the Exynos 1330 found in the M14. This chipset is coupled with 4GB of RAM and offers a generous 128GB of internal storage, expandable via a dedicated microSD card slot for added flexibility.
In the camera department, the Galaxy M15 introduces a new 5MP ultrawide camera alongside the existing 50MP primary sensor and 2MP macro lens. The 13MP front-facing camera remains unchanged from its predecessor, the M14. Continuing the tradition of endurance, the Galaxy M15 retains its predecessor’s hefty 6,000mAh battery, ensuring prolonged usage on a single charge. Additionally, users can benefit from faster charging speeds, with support for up to 25W charging.
Notably, the Galaxy M15 ships with the latest Android 14 operating system out of the box, promising a modern and feature-rich user experience from the moment of unboxing. As Samsung expands the availability of the Galaxy M15 and unveils pricing details, consumers can look forward to experiencing a blend of affordability and performance in Samsung’s latest entry-level offering.
