Samsung appears to be gearing up to unveil the Samsung Galaxy F55 this year, aligning with its strategy for the F series. Given its affiliation with the F lineup, it’s anticipated that the Galaxy F55 will bear striking similarities, if not identical features, to the previously unveiled Galaxy A55. Evidently, the F55 has already garnered attention through Bluetooth and Wi-Fi certifications, affirming its existence, and now, Samsung has further substantiated its reality by launching support pages for the Samsung Galaxy F55 in Bangladesh and India.
With the model number SM-E556B/DS, the Galaxy F55 is equipped with dual SIM functionality, as indicated by the “DS” designation in its model number. However, beyond these details, no further specifics about the device have been unveiled through the listings.
Notably, the Wi-Fi certification confirms Wi-Fi 6 support for the Galaxy F55, while other specifications are expected to mirror those of the A55. Prospective features include a spacious 6.6-inch 1080×2340 120 Hz AMOLED touchscreen, powered by the Exynos 1480 SoC.
Additionally, it is anticipated to offer variants with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage, along with a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50 MP main camera with OIS, a 12 MP ultrawide lens, and a 5 MP macro lens. For selfies, a 32 MP front-facing camera is expected. Moreover, the device is projected to house a robust 5,000 mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging.

Last month, the Wi-Fi Alliance certified a Samsung device with the model code SM-E556B/DS, sparking speculation that it could be the upcoming Galaxy F55. Recent developments from Bluetooth SIG seem to confirm this speculation, as the certifying authority has officially listed the SM-E556B_DS on its website, confirming it as the Samsung Galaxy F55.
While Bluetooth SIG’s certification has unveiled the device’s Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity feature, additional specifications remain undisclosed at this point. However, an interesting revelation is the presence of the SM-C5560 model on the same certification page, linked to the Galaxy M55. This suggests that the Galaxy F55 and Galaxy M55 may be variants of the same phone tailored for different markets.
Earlier rumors added complexity to the mix, suggesting that the SM-C5560 could be the Galaxy C55, while the SM-M556E/DS might be identified as the Galaxy M55. Both of these models have previously received Wi-Fi Alliance certification. Furthermore, the SM-M556B made an appearance on Geekbench in November, flaunting the powerful Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC and 8GB of RAM.
As the puzzle pieces continue to fall into place, the speculation surrounding these Samsung devices intensifies. More comprehensive details are eagerly awaited to shed light on the distinct features and market strategies for the Galaxy F55, Galaxy M55, Galaxy C55, and their variants. Until then, enthusiasts and tech observers will remain on the lookout for any additional information that may surface, providing a clearer understanding of Samsung’s diverse smartphone lineup.
