In early May, Samsung launched the Galaxy A24 4G, and now leaks suggest that the company is already working on the Galaxy A25 5G. Recently, CAD-based renders of the unannounced model surfaced, revealing a smartphone that bears a striking resemblance to the A24 4G.
The timing of this leak is unusual since the A25’s naming convention implies that it should succeed the A24, which has only been on the market for a few weeks. However, it is possible that there’s more to the story. This is pure speculation, but it’s worth considering whether the Galaxy A25 5G was initially intended to be released as the Galaxy A24 5G. If this were the case, the similarities in appearance and the quick release timeframe would make more sense. It’s possible that Samsung decided to rebrand the device as the A25 5G, perhaps to create the impression that it is a newer model.
With that said, it’s important to take this information with caution as it is based on speculation. Now, turning to the leaked renders, the A25 5G is reported to have dimensions of 162 x 77.5 x 8.3 mm. For comparison, the A24 4G measures 162.1 x 77.6 x 8.3 mm, so the difference is within a rounding error. The leaked information also suggests that the screen size will be around 6.44 inches.
Additionally, the leak reveals the presence of a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a triple rear camera setup. While the pictured handset is in black, it’s possible that more color options will be available at launch. Unfortunately, there is no specific information regarding the release date of the Galaxy A25 5G at this time. However, we will keep you updated as more details become available.
