Samsung has quietly introduced its most recent additions to the Galaxy A-series lineup, namely the Galaxy A05 and Galaxy A05s. Both of these new smartphones boast 6.7-inch LCD displays, with the A05 featuring HD+ resolution and the A05s offering FHD+ resolution. The A05s features a 13MP front-facing camera tucked within a waterdrop notch, while the A05 is equipped with an 8MP front shooter.
The primary distinction lies in the processor department, with the A05s being powered by the Snapdragon 680 and the A05 utilizing MediaTek’s Helio G85. Both phones come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card.
Both phones share the same 50MP primary camera with an aperture of f/1.8, along with a 2MP depth sensor. However, the A05s also includes a 2MP macro camera. Both devices feature 5,000mAh batteries with support for 25W fast charging. On the software side, they run on OneUI Core based on Android 13.
The Samsung Galaxy A05 is available in Black, Light Green, and Silver color options, while the Galaxy A05s is also offered in Violet. Details regarding pricing and availability have not been disclosed yet, but more information is expected to be released in the coming days.
