Realme has set a date for the introduction of the Narzo 60 series, which will take place in July (next Thursday). The event will be live-streamed at 12 noon local time. In anticipation of the upcoming series, the company has provided a sneak peek at the design that will be featured.
Interestingly, the design seems quite familiar, resembling the Realme 11 Pro/11 Pro+ with the exception of the “NARZO” branding on the back. However, there is one noticeable difference—the Narzo version lacks the decorative stitching found on the 11 Pro duo. The color variant showcased in the preview is called “Martian Horizon.”
Realme plans to unveil two phones: the Narzo 60 and Narzo 60 Pro. It is expected that these models will bear similarities to the Realme 11 Pro duo. Upon closer inspection, one can spot the words “100MP” written on the back, denoting the camera resolution of the Realme 11 Pro. Although the Pro+ model features a 200MP main camera (along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera), it remains uncertain whether the image shown represents the regular Narzo 60 or the 60 Pro.
The Realme 11 Pro+ has enjoyed considerable success in Asia, achieving record-breaking sales during its initial release. Alongside the Realme 11 Pro, they dominated the PKR66895.68-PKR100343.52 price segment on websites.
One notable distinction between the Realme 11 phones and the Narzo 60 phones is their availability on different platforms. The Narzo duo will be exclusively sold in Asia, and you can stay updated on new developments through the designated website’s landing page.
It’s worth noting that unofficial information, such as Geekbench results, suggests that the Narzo 60 will be powered by the Dimensity 6020 chipset, while both Realme 11 Pro models utilize the Dimensity 7050 chipset. The 6020 chipset employs older technology (7nm versus 6nm, Cortex-A76 versus A78, Mali-G57 versus G68). Therefore, appearances can be deceiving, and the two series may differ more significantly than they initially appear.
