Last week, the Realme 12X made its debut as the latest addition to the 12 series, and today it has been officially unveiled. While Realme initially announced its availability for the Chinese market, plans are underway to introduce this model to India in the near future.
The Realme 12X features a spacious 6.67-inch LCD display boasting a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate, with impressive brightness capabilities ranging from a peak of 625 nits to a minimum of 1 nit. Under the hood, it houses MediaTek’s Dimensity 6100+ SoC, paired with a generous 12GB of RAM, expandable by an additional 12GB. Storage options include 256GB or 512GB variants.
In terms of photography, users can expect a high-resolution 50 MP primary rear camera, complemented by an 8 MP selfie shooter. Additionally, the device is IP54 certified, offering resistance against dust and water splashes, and it maintains a sleek profile at just 7.89mm thin, weighing in at 190g. Powering the device is a substantial 5,000 mAh battery, with support for 15W wired charging. On the software front, it runs Android 14 overlaid with Realme’s intuitive UI 5.0.
The Realme 12X is slated to hit the shelves in China via Realme’s online store in captivating color options such as “Bluebird” and “Black Jade” on April 7. The introductory promotional prices are set at CNY 1,399 ($194 or €178) for the 256GB variant and CNY 1,599 ($222 or €203) for the 512GB variant. However, it’s important to note that these prices will subsequently increase to CNY 1,499 ($208 or €190) and CNY 1,799 ($249 or €229), respectively.
