Realme’s 12 series has already expanded to include four impressive models – the 12, 12+, 12 Pro, and 12 Pro+. However, it seems that Realme is not stopping there. A fifth addition to the series, the Realme 12x 5G, is on the horizon.
The Realme 12x 5G has recently obtained several certifications, including Bluetooth and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). While this doesn’t guarantee an immediate launch, it suggests that the release is imminent, likely within the coming weeks. Identified by the model number RMX3997, the device is poised to bring advanced connectivity features to consumers.
Among its notable specifications, the Realme 12x 5G boasts Bluetooth 5.3 capabilities and has been certified by TUV for its 4,890mAh rated capacity battery, likely to be marketed as 5,000mAh upon launch. The device is expected to support 15W wired charging, ensuring efficient power replenishment.
Given its BIS certification, a launch in India is all but confirmed for the Realme 12x 5G. Insights gleaned from Camera FV-5 indicate that the device’s primary shooter will feature an f/1.8 aperture and a 28mm equivalent focal length, promising impressive photography capabilities. Additionally, the front camera is expected to sport an f/2.0 aperture and a 26mm equivalent focal length, ideal for capturing stunning selfies.
The nomenclature of the Realme 12x implies that it will succeed the Realme 11x, which made its debut in August of the previous year. With anticipation building for its arrival, it’s likely that the Realme 12x will hit the shelves sooner rather than later. Stay tuned for further updates as we track the progress of this exciting addition to the Realme 12 series.
