The global release of the Poco F5 and F5 Pro is now official, and they are available for purchase worldwide. These devices have already received a lot of attention online, and we now have a comprehensive understanding of their specifications.
The Poco F5 Pro boasts a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 3200×1440 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It offers a peak brightness of 1400 nits and a touch sampling rate of up to 480Hz. At the back of the F5 Pro, you’ll find a triple camera setup consisting of a 64MP f/1.8 main shooter with 1.4μm pixels, an 8MP f/2.2 fixed-focus ultrawide shooter, and a 2MP f/2.4 macro camera. On the front, there’s a 16MP f/2.45 selfie shooter. The Poco F5 is equipped with a 5,160mAh battery that supports both 67W wired charging and 30W wireless charging. The 67W charger is included in the box.
Both devices offer IP53 splash protection, stereo speakers, an IR blaster, and run on Android 13 with MIUI 14. The Poco F5 Pro is powered by a 4nm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip and comes with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM. It also features multi-layered liquid cooling. The RAM can be expanded using UFS 3.1 storage.
The starting price for the Poco F5 Pro is $449, with an early bird deal of $429. Now let’s move on to the Poco F5, which has been slightly downgraded to offer a more affordable price. It still features a 6.67-inch screen, but the resolution is reduced to 2400×1080 pixels. The panel still supports a 120Hz refresh rate with a maximum touch sampling rate of 480Hz, but the peak brightness is limited to 1000 nits.
The F5 shares the same camera setup as the F5 Pro, both on the front and back. It comes with a slightly smaller 5,000mAh battery without wireless charging, but it still supports the fast 67W wired charging. The fast charger is included in the box. The Poco F5 is powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chip and offers 8GB or 12GB of expandable RAM. The starting price for the Poco F5 is $379, with a promotional pre-order price of $329.
