In November of last year, Oppo introduced the Reno11 series smartphones, and we anticipate the release of their successors prior to the commencement of the second half of 2024. Oppo has not officially announced details about the Reno12 lineup, but a Weibo tipster named Smart Pikachu (name translated from Chinese) has hinted at improvements in the camera department.
According to the tipster, the upcoming Oppo Reno12 series will showcase a newly customized Sony sensor, enhancing the mid-range image quality of the lineup. The Reno11 series consists of three smartphones – Reno11, Reno11 Pro, and Reno11 F. The standard and Pro models boast 50MP primary cameras, while the F variant features a 64MP unit. The specific number of phones in the Reno12 lineup and the resolution of their primary cameras are yet to be revealed.
It’s noteworthy that the Chinese versions of Reno11 and Reno11 Pro are equipped with the Dimensity 8200 and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chips, respectively. In contrast, the global editions of the standard and Pro models are powered by the Dimensity 7050 and Dimensity 8200 processors. The Reno11 F is also driven by the Dimensity 7050 SoC.
