Oppo is creating anticipation for the upcoming launch of its Reno10 series in Asia, highlighting the remarkable feature of the Reno10 Pro+: its 64MP periscope zoom camera. The periscope camera boasts a 64MP resolution with an f/2.5 aperture and utilizes a half-inch (1/2″) sensor with 0.7µm pre-binned pixels.
It offers a 3x optical zoom and an impressive 120x hybrid zoom capability. Oppo claims that its periscope design is 0.96mm thinner compared to competitors’ periscopes, making it the highest megapixel unit available in this segment.
Additional camera specifications are expected to include a 50MP f/1.8 main camera featuring a Sony IMX890 sensor with a size of 1/1.56″, an 8MP camera with a 1/4″ sensor using the IMX355 sensor, and a 32MP front-facing selfie camera.
The Reno10 series was initially unveiled in China and consists of three models: Reno10, Reno10 Pro, and Reno10 Pro+. While all three models are expected to have a global release, including in Asia, there may be some variations. For instance, the Pro model might feature the Snapdragon 778G processor instead of the Dimensity 8200.
It is possible that the Pro+ variant will retain the same specifications as mentioned earlier. This would include a 6.74-inch 120Hz OLED display, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with a maximum of 16GB RAM, and a 4,700mAh battery supporting 100W fast charging.
