Later this week, Oppo is set to unveil the successor to last year’s A2 Pro with the launch of the Oppo A3 Pro. Scheduled for Friday, April 12 at 2:30 PM Beijing time, the mid-range device’s debut is highly anticipated. Interested buyers can secure their spot and ensure early delivery by making early reservations through Oppo’s official online store and partner retailers such as JD.com, Tmall, and Douyin.
Oppo has teased several key features of the A3 Pro, including the presence of ingress protection, up to 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. It will be available in three official colors: Azure, Pink, and Mountain Blue, with the latter two options featuring a vegan leather back.
According to leaks from tipster Digital Chat Station, the Oppo A3 Pro is expected to boast an IP69 rating, providing protection against high-pressure water jets and steam cleaning, along with dust-tight protection – a rarity among mid-range devices.
Rumored specifications also suggest a curved 6.7-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The device is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery and a 64MP main camera with f/1.7 aperture.
In related news, the A3 Pro recently made an appearance on Geekbench under the identifier PJY110, confirming the presence of the Dimensity 7050 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and Android 14 out of the box. Benchmark scores revealed a respectable performance with 904 points in the single-core test and 2,364 points in the multi-core test.
