OnePlus has made an announcement today regarding a limited-edition smartphone called OnePlus 11 Marble Odyssey, specifically for the Asian market. Interestingly, this variant is essentially a rebranded version of the OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock edition, which was previously introduced in China.
To provide a quick recap, the OnePlus 11 Marble Odyssey features a back panel made from a material known as 3D microcrystalline rock, according to OnePlus. While the exact chemical composition of this material remains unknown, OnePlus claims that it is a challenging substance to manufacture, with only 25% production efficiency compared to standard glass panels and a yield of just 50%.
The distinct characteristics of this material lie in its pattern and texture. Each back panel is carefully hand-selected, ensuring that every phone possesses a unique pattern that sets it apart from others, guaranteeing no two devices will look the same. Additionally, the material has a naturally cool touch. Aside from these features, the Marble Odyssey/Jupiter Rock edition remains identical to the standard OnePlus 11.
The limited-edition Marble Odyssey will be exclusively available in the 16/256GB configuration, priced at PKR 225280.18, which is PKR 10397.71 higher than the standard model. As an added bonus, customers purchasing the Marble Odyssey edition will receive a complimentary pair of OnePlus Buds Z2. No specific release date has been announced at this time.
