The highly anticipated next-generation Motorola Razr phones have finally received a confirmed release date. The foldable flip phones will be officially unveiled on June 1st. A teaser video has been released, showcasing two device silhouettes, indicating that both the flagship Razr 40 Ultra and a more affordable option, the Razr 40, will be introduced.
According to rumors, the Razr 40 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.9-inch FHD+ folding OLED screen with a high refresh rate of either 120Hz or 144Hz. It will also come with a 3.5-inch OLED cover screen. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, accompanied by 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The phone will sport a 12MP main camera, a 13MP ultrawide shooter, and a 3,640 mAh battery with 33W charging support. In Europe, the starting price for the Razr 40 Ultra is anticipated to be €1,299/PKR396816.82.
While the specifications for the Razr 40 are not as detailed, it is expected that Motorola will implement cost-cutting measures across the board to achieve the rumored launch price of €899/PKR274625.35. This may include features such as a smaller cover screen.
