Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will Debut as Razr+ in the US Market

On June 1, 2023, Motorola plans to reveal two vertically folding smartphones in a flip-style design, expected to be named the Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra. There have been rumors suggesting that the Razr 40 Ultra might also be referred to as Razr+, and these rumors have been confirmed by reliable leaker Evan Blass. According to Blass, the smartphone will be launched as Razr+ in the US and as Razr 40 Ultra in other markets.

In addition, Blass has shared a couple of videos showcasing various ways to use the cover screen of the Razr 40 Ultra, which is rumored to have a diagonal measurement of 3.5 inches. Motorola has not yet disclosed any details about the Razr 40 duo.

Motorola is preparing to launch a new foldable phone in the near future, and we now have additional confirmation about its specifications thanks to a listing on Geekbench. The device appears as the Motorola Razr+ 2023 in the listing and is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM. These specifications align with the leaked information we recently encountered, but the listing adds more intrigue to the phone’s name since earlier rumors suggested it would be released as the Razr Ultra.
