Moto X50 Ultra Launching Soon in Asia

Accompanying the teaser video is a cryptic Weibo post, alluding to the upcoming F1 China Grand Prix, an event sponsored by Motorola owner Lenovo. Scheduled for April 21, it’s speculated that Motorola may be gearing up to unveil the Moto X50 Ultra around this significant sporting event.
Interestingly, the absence of an X40 Pro and an Ultra variant in the previous year’s lineup is noteworthy. Instead, Moto released the Moto X40, which, with minor tweaks, made its way to the global market as the Moto Edge 40 Pro. Prior to that, the Moto X30 Pro underwent similar modifications to become the Moto Edge 30 Ultra. Notably, the Moto X-series has never featured an Ultra variant until now.
Rumors circulating about the Moto Edge 50 Pro suggest a robust 4,500mAh battery, complemented by 125W wired charging and 50W wireless charging capabilities. While these specifications closely align with those of the Edge 40 Pro, which boasts a 4,600mAh battery and 125W wired charging, the wireless charging capabilities represent a significant improvement.
However, speculation abounds regarding whether the Edge 50 Pro will be based on the Moto X50 or the X50 Ultra, as per Moto’s naming conventions.
