Motorola recently announced the Moto Edge 50 Pro in Asia, and according to recent leaks, it will soon be available in Europe as well. The European release is expected around mid-April, with the phone reportedly available in a single 12GB/256GB variant, priced at €699. This marks a significant price increase compared to the Asia market, where the same variant is priced at €400.
In Asia, there is also a more affordable 8GB/256GB model available for €355. The color options for Europe are expected to mirror those in Asia, including Lavender, Black, and Pearl, with the latter being somewhat exclusive. Additionally, European units will reportedly come with a 125W charger in the box.
To recap, the Moto Edge 50 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and boasts a 6.7-inch, 144Hz, HDR10+, FullHD+ AMOLED display with an impressive peak brightness of 2,000 nits. The device features a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, a 13MP ultrawide lens with autofocus, and a 50MP front-facing camera for selfies.
Noteworthy features include IP68 water and dust resistance, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The Edge 50 Pro is equipped with a 4,500 mAh battery supporting 125W wired and 50W wireless charging. It runs on Android 14, with Motorola committing to three major OS updates and four years of security patches. This launch is highly anticipated, as the Edge 50 Pro aims to offer a premium experience with its advanced features and competitive pricing strategy.
