Despite potential legal issues in Europe, Oppo remains enthusiastic about promoting its flagship phones, namely the Find N2 Flip and the Find X6 Pro. The company recently announced its intention to expand its partnership with the UEFA Champions League and has enlisted the renowned former football player Ricardo Izecson Dos Santos Leite, known as Kaka, as a global brand ambassador.
Under this collaboration, Kaka, who achieved success with Sao Paolo, AC Milan, and Real Madrid, will engage in various events worldwide to endorse Oppo’s brands and showcase its top-tier smartphones. His upcoming itinerary includes visits to Indonesia on June 3 and China on June 5, followed by a meeting with fans in Istanbul, Turkey, where the UEFA Champions League final will take place on June 10.
Notably, Kaka was part of the victorious Milan team in the 2007 Champions League final, which saw them avenge their previous loss at the Ataturk Stadium, the very venue for this year’s final. Moreover, Kaka received the esteemed 2007 Ballon d’Or (Golden Ball) and has claimed championships in the Italian Serie A and the Spanish La Liga during his tenure at Real Madrid.
Expressing his excitement, Kaka expressed his enthusiasm about collaborating with Oppo, a prominent global technology leader, noting that he himself is an avid fan of technology. Elvis Zhou, Oppo Overseas CMO, emphasized that the realization of miracles stems from expertise and perseverance, both of which Kaka embodies as a representative of these qualities.
